Welcome

Welcome to the Hudson Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America's Website. We serve Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Sullivan and Rockland Counties of New York State. We are one of 139 chartered Regions comprising the Porsche Club of America, in itself the largest and strongest automobile club in the world. There are many links to many pages. So please stay a while, and Enjoy!

Spring Breakout Reminder

Reminder that this Sat. from noon until 4ish our Annual S.B.will be held at Advanced Auto in New Windsor NY courtesy of the Florio's. Dogs and burgers on the club. Bring your own beer or wine or favorite beverage. I always bring a 6-pac and a bag of pretzels. Chips seem to go fast too. Perhaps a favorite cookie or desert snack? A folding chair or two is recommended.

Advanced Auto 2450 Rte 32 New Windsor, NY 12553 845-562-0346

We will be featuring Danny Piperato's 550 Spyder replica. Dan will go over the construction of the car from top to bottom and explain joys and pitfalls of such an enterprise. We thank Danny in advance.

I will have a few detailing tips to share and how to clean out your front radiators on 986 & 966 cars and will bring the rear plastic window cleaner again. Any tips you might want to share are welcome.

Those who have ordered name tags can pick them up at the gathering.

Be sure to bring your raffle tickets for our 50/50 and we will have some nice door prizes courtesy of Ray & Linda Eurich (2 tickets to the ALMS race at Lime Rock and some of our PCA region labeled wine). Tom will also have a zone 1 gift certificate for a prize. I am sure some other treats will show up.

Weather looks good so far on the Natl. map so plan on coming early and staying late. Good place to meet old friends and make new ones and we especially welcome new members.

If you would like to ask questions about the kind of tires that are best for your car, where to find a replacement part for your '82 911, what types of products members have used and to what results this may be the place to find your answers. Members are always generous about sharing knowledge from their experiences. In addition you will have some of the first information about events sponsered by the club and get quick answers to any questions you may have.
